Justice Page 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony will be June 6th at 930am.
We'll recognize and celebrate the successful completion of middle school and transition to high school of our eighth-grade students. Families are invited to a promotion ceremony in the auditorium, followed by a reception hosted by Justice Page PTA, in the cafeteria.
Here are the highlights:
Ceremony will take in the Justice Page auditorium, June 6th at 9:30am.
Students will sit with their crew class. (There will be no caps or gowns.)
Ceremony is a combination of live speakers and pre-recording.
- The school is responsible for the ceremony. JPS will provide certificates.
- PTA is fully responsible for reception.
After the ceremony, there will be a route for students & families to:
1) take a photo in new atrium) 3) go down to cafeteria for treats.
*Prior to the event: Students and families should arrange a meeting spot to find each other.
Students will be released after the event, if they choose. There will be a sign-out process.
PTA will be in charge of:
Volunteer sign-ups:
Set up
serving food
tear down, clean up.
Food & drinks (to be served in cafeteria)
All decorations (with set up)- balloons, banners, etc.
All signage (with set up).
School is in charge of
Ceremony proceedings.
Photo op staging backgrounds. (At least 2 in atrium)
WE NEEDS LOTS OF VOLUNTEERS FOR THIS EVENT-- PLEASE CONSIDER ONE OF MANY TIMESLOTS!
