May 9: Spring Plant Sale Pick Up Day Help

The PTA is looking for volunteers to assist with the plant sale pick-up. This is an enjoyable way to lend a hand and meet other JPS parents. There are several shifts and roles available. Please check out available slots and sign up, if you're able.  Remember to bring a camp chair and dress appropriately for any weather conditions.

It's funny, but robots don't seem to be able to do simple math.
MORNING UNLOAD/SORT HELP 8:00am-Noon

Help take plants off of the delivery driver's racks and help sort. This may require a little muscle. Wear clothing that can get soiled and good footwear.

You are tentatively scheduled to arrive at 8:00am


* Please note: delivery times vary slightly. Some flexibility this morning is helpful. We have had them arrive anywhere from 8 to 11am. The plant sale coordinator will text signed up volunteers the morning of drop off once confirmation of the timing when the truck is expected to arrive at Justice Page Middle School.

Location: Door 1/50th Street entrance - West side of parking lot by fence to Washburn field. 

This job should take about an hour.

8:00am - Noon UNLOADERS
Help unload truck outside of Door 1/50th Street entrance. Will start between 8am and 11am and will take one hour.

FULFILLMENT 10am-Noon

Fill customer orders. Plants are delivered and grouped by type- not by customer order. Each customer order must be fulfilled by finding each plant and grouping with each customers ticket.

This is a fun and easy way to help our PTA while getting to meet other parents. 

Location: Event takes place off the west side of the parking lot near the athletic field.

Dress for rain or shine. 

* Please note: Timing can vary slightly. Depending on drop off timing, we could start sorting later. the plant sale coordinator will update you with any changes to the schedule.

10am - 12pm FULLFILLMENT
Help fulfill each customer ticket. (Plants arrive by type and each order must be fulfilled.)

Bring a camping chair & dress for rain or shine. There is not a lot of shade on that side of the lot. A fun and low-key way to help while getting to meet other parents!

3:30 - 5:30pm (A Shift) DISTRIBUTION
Help customers find their ticketed order. Help load into their vehicle, if needed.
